That's why it must be our priority to help pupils to understand their own mental well-being and know how to improve it. Activities range from thinking about what makes them happy to designing their own happy place to setting goals to thinking about how helping others can lead to being a happier person. It was very important to me as many questions were being asked and some pupils were saying unkind things. A fun science experiment focusing on the properties of materials linked to Shakespeare's Macbeth. This 6 lesson DT and science learning journey, asks children to design and build a boat using 'junk' and considering the properties of different materials. An interesting and engaging poem on the fear and devastation caused by earthquakes. The 1,2,1,2 rhyming poem gives pupils an insight to the loss that someone may feel. The poem comes with writing paper for pupils to write their own poem about an earthquake and poetry comprehension questions.
